Go back to the court house where he went to "get" the divorce and give the date and name, they should be able to tell you if he did or not. That is public record so it should be there. Was he there with her to get the divorce?

Divorces are public knowledge. They print them in the newspaper around here. So, you may be able to go to your newspaper's web site and check. Other than that call the court and ask them where you can find the info

If you are that deeply involved with someone, there should be some element of trust in the relationship. If you cannot trust his word & you have to go digging & doing your own detective work I would question the commitment level in this relationship.

If you can not trust him now, how the hell are you going to have trust later on in the relationship.
You have a major trust issue, get over it or it will eat away at your relationship.

it depends on your state ... there should be access on the web for "public" records ... do a google search for your city or county w/ public records and see what pops up ...
