Dear 14,
I know how self-concious we are about our appearence, as teenage girls specially, but one very important thing you have to remember about make-up: you have to remove it to go to bed, all of it! Make-up can clog your pores and your skin needs to breathe. A clean skin is what will get you a healthy skin and a good cream, even a coloured one, for your specific problem is really all you should need.
But if your choice is to wear make-up, what you could do on a sleepover is be the last one in the bathroom ( Lights out, you go wash) and be the first to get up (personal alarm) and go apply your make-up.
but I do agree that your true friends will and should accept you as you are, acne and all.

See if you can find a night cream for acne that has a tint (Clearasil??). And I bet you won't be the only girl at the sleepover with acne showing once the make up is off!

baby girl,
iam going to tell you what i do. i don't wear make up for no reason. make up don't make you look no batter, it just make you look worse and iam telling you the truth be smart. show your natrual beaute in side in out. for example if you don't put on make up your beautifull, then put on make up you look a little batter than take it off you would look just plan ugly. so i say don't put on make up. if you don't have friends afer that you didn't have friends in the first place.
it's o.k. if you use proactive that nothing wrong with that. every body have bomps on there face if they said they never had one it's eather a lie or they haven't hit puberty. you'll get these thing regurdless every one does it makes no sence to feel self concious. take your things over your frinds house they ask you why you bringing that tell them you like to look good sleeping or awake. it's o.k. if you don't take my advice just be smart about it there is no reason to feel bad about it.

it's ok to leave on mascara and liner, but wash off your foundation. it megan is your true friend, she won't even care what you look like without your makeup. she should see you for who you are. if she doesn't care if you're not perfect, then you shouln't. remember, you don't have to see yourself if you are uncomfortable. she will be friends with you no matter how pretty you are.
