I doubt it is a hygiene problem which may provide some relief for you. As an entomology graduate student I have learned that some types of anthrophilic or "human-loving" arthropods are simply more attracted to certain individuals because of their CO2 emissions, sweat or other natural smells. I believe that you aren't just being overly sensitive to their annoyance, so make sure that the problem isn't a fragrance or other application. I don't know of any silver bullets to remedy the problem but you could try adjusting your diet, experiment with eating less of foods you generally consume a high percentage of. If all else fails and the annoyance it too great you can depend on repellants, Picaridin is a newer one that is available for use. Don't lose hope, good luck.

There actually was a study about this a while back about why some people get more bug bites then others. If I recall correctly, there are little substances in the blood, and some people have substances that the bugs like, while others have substances that the bugs don't like.

make sure you don't have poop on your underwear either, that will definitely attract things you don't want to attract and keep those away you would like to. Remember to always wipe good after you use poop.

Let me take a guess, you eat a lot of sweets? If so cut back on them and start taking garlic tablets. My grandson had a bad problem with fleas biting his legs. He started taking the garlic tablets and the problem is gone.

insects are in touch in gentle as they use gentle to navigate. Scientists "trust that insects that fly at nighttime developed over 1000's of thousands of years, formerly people existed. formerly people existed, there have been no man made lighting fixtures at nighttime. the purely gentle replaced into the moon, and insects that fly right away in route of the moon at nighttime will shuttle in a immediately line. This replaced into hence an priceless habit for them, assisting them navigate contained in the darkish. that is an *instinct*, meaning they don't imagine about it, they purely do it, because over the 1000's of thousands of years they have existed, insects that would want to navigate at nighttime did more effective than those which couldn't. insects that fly in route of a man made gentle, besides the undeniable fact that, will crash into it, and many times damage themselves. they could't avert it, because that is an instinct. If we had yet another few million years to observe the approach, finally insects may give up doing it - yet not yet; that is purely been some hundred years." "gentle and color play an major area contained in the reactions of insects. The reaction to gentle is termed phototropism. that is nicely common that many insects are in touch in gentle, the reaction to it really is many times more effective than existence itself. gentle of short wavelengths, which incorporates blue and violet, is in a good number of cases extra appealing to insects than different colorations. Experiments have shown that all lighting fixtures of an similar color do not entice insects proportionally. a lot relies upon upon the intensity. besides the undeniable fact that moths are in touch in man made gentle, they save remote from solar. Butterflies in truth are in touch in solar yet are repelled by guy-made gentle. Butterflies are tuned to severe intensities of light and moths to low intensities, so as that the brilliant gentle attracts the butterflies and feeble gentle attracts the moths. insects typically orient themselves with their heads right away in route of or right away remote from the gentle source. Scientists said that the moth isn't attracted by the gentle yet is orientated by it and, in consistently adjusting its head to the gentle, is drawn into it.

Do you kill the bugs or do you let them get away? I knew someone who refused to kill anything that's living, and so for some reason they weren't afraid of her so they were attracted to her. If that makes sense.?
