I would say Angelina Jolie, Catherine Zeta Jones, or Sarah Michelle Geller are prefect choices as the next Wonder Woman because they all played a female action hero previously, they fit the looks and description of Wonder Woman, and probably can carried the movie better then any other actresses.

It would have to be an unknown. Like they did with Superman (Christopher Reeve and Brandon Routh) Neither one of them had ever been heard of when the movies came out and the audiences accepted them more because there were no preconceived ideas of who they were.
But if they did choose someone well known, I would have to go with Kate Beckinsale.
