Anyone out there have frequent trips to the bathroom as your first sign of pregnancy? (before any other telltale sign?) And when you felt the urge to go, was it more extreme than usual...even when you didn't need to go that badly? Thanks for your input!

I have never had frequent trips to the bathroom until around 8 weeks or so.... I guess it can be sooner because the hormones are what causes this and then later on its caused by the baby pressing against the bladder. Im sure some will tell you its too soon, because the baby is too small, but like I said its hormones. You can read about that at babycenter.com

The feel and need to urinate frequently during pregnancy doesn't usually occur until the second trimester or 3-4 month of pregnancy. This is due to the fact of the growing baby in your womb putting pressure on your bladder.

Im a guy so I wouldnt know. But frequent urination can also be a sign of diebetes (sp?). Its one of the ways the body tries to purge itself of the sugar. I dont have it so I may be a little wrong but the basic idea is correct.
