I'm second in my league, and I'm playing the first place team this week. However, my top two QBs are Matt Hasselbeck and Trent Green. My third stringer is J.P. Losman. I'm very happy with my starters and believe they are capable of taking me through the playoffs, assuming everyone is healthy.

There are no - absolutely no - starting QBs in free agency. I don't know who I should go for, or what I should do. I need some serious help here; I'm in a tough position.

My backups I have to work with are Marty Booker, Brandon Jacobs, Bobby Engram, and Eric Parker. I also have Denver defense, and kickers that I rotate between, Olindo Mare and David Akers.

Remember - I just need a QB that will produce this week - I trust Matt Hasselbeck and/or Trent Green will be back by next week.

Furthermore, I am more than willing to trade any of my backups, however, I won't trade my starters.

Suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Well, your back-ups suck, so I doubt anyone would want them. I don't even know if you could start any of them, unless you have a good match-up.

Is Denver a back-up? If so, I would try packaging them in a trade. Maybe you could dish out Green and a WR for a decent QB that is riding bench this week on someone's team?

Are there REALLY no other QBs out there? I mean, there HAS to be someone. Carr? Romo? GARRARD???

Good luck

First, I'd put Losman in as a starter, at least for now. He's not great, but he's not making as many mistakes as he used to, either. I think where you're going to mess up is that you're not willing to trade starters. I think, especially at this point of the season, you have to be willing to trade anyone away or trade FOR anyone if it'll help your team on the stretch run. Definitely get rid of a kicker, too. You're wasting a spot that could be filled by another WR or RB by having a second kicker that you're not gonna use.

kc keeps winning with huard green will stay on the bench, losman is a starter so i guess he`s better than nothing but what about seneca wallace? tony romo?what about aaron brooks?the bears backup because grossman looks bad so u might want to gamble on griese on your bench to see if he gets the job same for campbell of the redskins or the texans backup qb.

1st- get rid of one of your kickers, you only need one

2nd-Damon Huard(KC Chiefs) will probably start for the next few weeks, even if Trent Green is healthy

3rd-Losman will be fine until Hasselback comes back

pick up seneca wallace and drop your 3rd string QB you don't even need him. He'll help you out 'til Hasselbach gets back
