Does it matter?
Kudos to self-expression!
I'm sure the DIY folks will love the shirt you made. :)

The 60's will always be in style.
I think it sounds pretty creative if you ask me, get a couple of friends together, and tye-dye and do other complete random things to those poor shirts. My friends and I did it once, and while it sounds really corny, we had loads of fun.
We really got into it, and all of us had these old jeans that we attacked with Sharpie markers, and wrote down all of our 'inside' jokes. Not even our shoes escaped.
We wrote a song, ( about a how strange the word hippo was actually) on the rubber tips of our converses. Pretty soon most of the school was decorating their clothing, much to their parents dismay.
Oh the good old days, but hey, if you don't do something, Polo shirts might just take over the world.

If it's not against any sort of dress code at school and you want to "express" yourself, I say "go for it". It doesn't matter if anyone laughs or calls you "hippie". What other people think is not how you should define yourself. If in your heart you know you are a kind, compassionate, non judgemental person, be secure in who you are. That will show through and people will see "beyond the wrapper". And for those of them that don't...their loss in not seeing you for who you really are!

Honey there will always be someone that will criticize you for being unique. If you want to make the shirt, go ahead. Just be prepared for compliments and critizism. If you like it, then you should wear it.

Okay, basically, if you really truly care about what a couple "popular"(cough, cough) people think about you, you might not want to do it because they are unpredictable, but, if you don't care, then do it!!!!!! Being unique is awesome and it is probably the best style ever! If you go with it, Kudos to u!

properly I truthfully have some what a similar issue my-self and what i do is definitely have a blonde 2d and say i are not getting it (which i regularly do not) then later on have a random 2d and snigger because of the fact i've got been given it, yet once you probably did get it and it wasn't humorous then it wasn't humorous not all jokes are humorous.

No, they won't say hippie.
There were no Walmart shirts during the 60's and 70's.
Do a tie dye shirt instead....

as long as your good looking all over people, being guys, will only notice your legs, and the only people that will notice the skirt r girls and depending on your ability to fashionize yourself they'll probably say its cute.
