each and every college application is going to make you do ballet. it is important which you are able to be waiting to appreciate the way your physique alignment works and enables you to bop greater desirable in different genres. although, a loss of past guidance does not consistently immediately mean you're out of the photograph. i'm at school as a ballet overall performance substantial good now and have a minimum of one pal who had in no way had ballet earlier they got here to the college. so some distance as i understand, hip-hop isn't a substantial in any dance application in college, yet many have it as an optionally available. maximum faculties will carry ballet cutting-edge and jazz dance, and you will ought to take them desirous approximately a volume of time. After which you opt for on your concentration and concentration greater on that. My advice is to be certain some faculties with a good dance application and spot if any of them greater healthful your type. i'm no longer often a billboard for my college, however the college of the humanities in Philadelphia is an stunning place to be. look it up!

There's the kind of dancing where you would move in accordance with a basic formula. You could improvise flourishes of personal style, but they would have to be consistent with the basic pattern of the dance and not disruptive thereof.

The other kind of dancing is where you can move just about any way you like, let your whimsy of the moment be your only guide.

Obviously, the former kind of dance is the more artistically demanding, the more challenging, and hence the more elite.

Right off the bat I would say ballet and hiphop since those are the ones that most people enjoy or do. If you want a truly unique answer though, I would tell your teacher good and bad

Two major kinds dancing are ballet and jazz.

Modern and contemperary are up there too. There is also hip hip, pop, tap, and ballroom.

There isn't just two major kinds of dancing, everythings pretty much equally popular now.
