A Schwinn Black Phantom bike back in 1948. I still have it and still ride it as much as possible. I'll never forget the day I got it way back then.

The best present I ever got was a microscope! I never even asked for one, but I fell in love with it! I loved running outside and finding little leaves and insects to look at! The thing I love the most about a microscope is, God's creation as seen with the naked eye is just marvelous...but through a microscope His handy work becomes so amazing! God has designed all of His creation in incredible detail! I got that microscope about 40 years ago. Recently, I had fond memories of the thing even though it was a toy. Then I remembered how cool it was to look through the nicer microscopes when I took biology in school. So, being all grown up now I decided I could afford a really good one. So I went online and actually bought 2 from Microscopes USA.com. One is a standard student model, and the other is a stereo model (3D image). I still enjoy the excitement of looking at what God has made through these instruments. Every time I look through a microscope my faith in God gets stronger! It's always a reminder of just how incredible He is! I think it would make a nice gift for either a girl or a boy! I enjoyed your question very much. It brought back fond memories. Thanks!

a journal my mom had written about me -- ever since I was a little baby up to I when I turned 12 or 13. It was really touching. I'm 14 now and the journal is packed away somewhere. It's really interesting to find what your mother notices about you. Without even asking she listed down my favorites -- and got most of them right!!
