I do not understand what kind of advice do you need ?But I think you and your husband should have a same religion.According to islamic teaching in our holy qur'an,muslim should married with muslimah and muslimah should married with muslim.With the same religion your family is hoped to be harmonize and will be blessed by Allah the only one God..If you have kids you must educate them in line with islamic teaching.As a new muslimah you must learn much of islamic teaching by reading holy book qu'an and hadith and understanding its meaning throughly.You must discuss with your husband or an islamic teacher if you are in doubt or you find unclear meaning of a verse.You must practice islamic teaching in your everyday life such as praying on time,treat/serve well your husband and kids ,maintain a good relation with your family and relatives of bothsides that is your own side and your husband side.You must maintain also a good relation with your neighbours and your friends.You must use islamic clothes and say salam and give smile if you meet someone.
You can not receive a man guest at home if you are alone.You ask for permission from your husband if you want anything to do
material action and going out..
