I only read our local small town paper. I read national and world-wide events on the Internet. I think it is a matter of individual like/dislike. My grandmother still reads the morning paper, local and national every morning while drinking her coffee as she has done as long as I can remember.

I do, but not regularly. It's more of an "if someone else has it" thing. I do read my local paper online, almost every day, as well as check out the headlines from The New York Times (online).
Reading the actual newspaper is time consuming. I used to read at least one a day, usually more, when I lived in New York and had a lot of time to kill during commutes, but, that's in the past. With all the other sources available these days, it's much more efficient to just scan things online.
I don't think newspaper will become obsolete entirely, though. They still hold too many special interest sections and articles that are often not available in their online editions. My husband buys the paper every Thursday - but that's only to clip any discount coupons for greens fees.

I do on a Sunday and that is about it. I usually read the week time ones on the internet when I am at work. No news on Saturday - it's happy day. I do think newspapers, may overtime, become a thing of the past but at the moment I still haven't given up on them.
I think it's better reading them then sitting on a computer reading them. I find myself a little dizzy after reading on the net as it doesn't have the simple layout a newspaper has.

Out of force of habit primarily I suppose but I always buy the same one and can quickly go to the news that I want. Besides In Mexico the papers are so cheap, a mere 7 pesos . And I prefer not to use the computer - I spend enough time being bombarded by those pesky things that it emits. Whatever I am told I know that it isn't too healthy and someday we will be told so. Besides, It isn't so easy taking the computer to the reading room - the toilet. It's still popular and is a long way from being a thing of the past.

I do and I especially enjoy the Sunday paper.
For something that changes minute-by-minute or I want immediate updates on (hurricanes, 9/11, etc) the Internet can't be beat.
But to read and reflect on anything else, the newspaper is indeed more enjoyable. Plus it's more portable, doesn't require electricity, and no annoying pop-ups. It's a whole lot easier to skip the print ads then deal with pesky pop-ups, ads with annoying moving pictures, and all the other crap on the Internet.

After work I will read my local paper. It's a habit. Then I will watch the news. In the morning I check the news articles on Yahoo! I get news all day long. You would think I would get tired of it. I guess it's my form of OCD.

I do. Newspapers will be around as long as people like to read at a leisurely pace and cut out pictures, cartoons, and articles to post on the fridge. E-mail attachments and printouts just aren't the same, somehow.

I do when I'm able. Unfortunately, where I work and with the job I do, I am not allowed to read while on the job unless it's work related. Therefore I wait until end of shift and read it then. I like to be up to date on current events
