My husband and I own a microfiber couch and its a simple solution to cleaning it. First they put a stain protectant on it in the store, but we simply use soap and water....Very little soap. It gets anything out...obviously not permanent marker, but pretty much everything.

Good luck!

I have a two step idea that works for me. Take the piece out
of doors, or isolated area in home. Cleanse with strong
upholstery cleaner, not full strength mix like you will hand wash.
Dry with a towel to a good damp. Add pre-prepared ivory snow
mixed with lime cleanser for mildew. This amount for a sofa
will be listed: upholstery cleaner 1 tablespoon per gallon
enhancer freshener fabric soap 1 tablespoon per gallon
ivory snow or fabric soap 2 tablespoon per gallon
lime mildew cleanser 2 tablespoon per gallon

You would use approximately one gallon total of water so use
the total of 1 to use 1 tablespoon then second 2 quarts add
2 tablespoon, now we have 6 tablespoons total per gallon.
Do not scrub with brushes or towels, use throwaway teflon
pad scrubbee. Rinse as you go with wet towel. Keep water
clean, mix entire second batch if extra extra dirty. This should
not be left on for too long until it bleaches, test swatch if it is
color black or brown. Generally if it does not run it will be okay.
Rinse with fresh wet clean cloth for lowest streak problem.

I would fill a bucket with warm water and a few capfuls of woolite and then dip a rag into the solution and wring it out and rub out the stain til gone. This is safe and wont harm the fabric.

you are not supposed to have to clean them, but, but, any upholstery cleaner will work. You can buy a spray like Scots Guard, if you have kids.
