Friend,
I hv come down by 12 kilos and how!!!
Keep your negative emotions in check by being consious of ur breathing every hour. When you feel your self breathe, you detach ur mind from the unending strands of thoughts and rest and energise ur mind. This provides ur mind with clarity and revitalises ur system.
By breathing, I only mean normal breathing, not deep breathing. No one needs to know there has been a momentary change in the status of your consiousness. You just need to FEEL the air go in and take out all the stress and strain for 20 seconds at the most. Close your eyes if you can allow your self to. Don't be surprised with the Peace you get!
Next comes Food moderation [not Diet or Food control]. Just go easy on what ever u r having during the day. When u r having the tastiest and most favorite stuff, pause, and breathe once yu are half way into it. This will help you stop when you are actually done and not over eat.
The most important part is the dinner. Here moderate the level to 60% capacity and have it before 8.15. Sleep by 10.30. Feel empty in between?? use some raw vegetable as fillers. High volume, low calorie and good stuff to help the rest of the stuff in ur system to where it ought to be by the morn'!!
Walk, if you can, in the morning or do some stretches when waiting on anything, like a slow computer to get movin'!
That's just about what I did to get the flab down successfully. For consistancy, you need to mind and soul energised to agree with your food moderation practices And You Win.
Godly ways and Godly foods are allways simple! Try these.
Thanks and God Bless you.

U r mind is God.So keep u r mind always free from unwanted thoughts.Meditation can help you .When ever you feel stressed just go to some corner or some calm place ,lay u r back on the wall ,sit straight with u r legs crossed, gently close u r eyes ,let u r thoughts 2 flow ,do not go behind any thoughts ,do not try 2 control the flow of thoughts, when u feel that u r dragged by sum thoughts then chant some of u r own mantras like "reem,om,sa",etc .Do this regularly for 15 min a day. This worked out 4 me.Now lets come to the diet .Early morning as u wake up drink water as mush as possible .complete all u morning duties take bath, wear loose cloths and try that meditation.then start with u r breakfast.c that always u r stomach should b half filled with food, quarter with water, and the remaining with air.avoid fast foods.Dont tie u r mouth n the name of diet.take what ever u like, but have sum limit.try 2 take vegetarian foods.build up confidence within u.this u let the flow of positive energy within u.pray God without fail.If u do not believe God,just close u r eyes for a while atleast thank the nature 4 giving such a wonderful life.Do this regularly u r mind and soul will b healthy.

Carbs can be an addiction, just like sugar. So, you need to slowly take yourself off of them and control your eating habits. This time of the year, fall and winter, we crave carbs.
Make sure you drink lots of pure water daily, exercise daily (walking briskly for 20 minutes to start and build up), lots of veggies (a good assortment of greens, reds, orange colors), fruits and berries (especially with dark colors like blueberries).
No fatty meats, no soda, all those keep the weight on or add more to what you have. Go easy on coffee, some of the designer coffees (mochas, etc.) can be fattening.
This is a lifestyle change, not a diet. And yes, our bodies are temples for the Holy Spirit to dwell in, it must be the best we can provide.
The mind, body and soul are interconnected, so when you improve one, the others benefit in some way too. Improving your body helps your mind by better brain functioning with proper diet and exercise. You soul benefits for providing that wonderful temple.
You go girl! You can do this, I know you can.
