Duty

I voted because I feel if you don't vote then you have no right to make any kind of comment either good or bad about anyone who holds a public office.

I also vote because there are some crazy people out there running for office and if I don't want them in office I better go to the polling place and vote. We had a white supremacist running for mosquito control. He didn't make it into office and he says he will run again, but I made sure I was there to vote against him.

The man who was elected Governor of our great state put up 30 foot signs in downtown Tampa. It is against the law to do that but you have 30 days to remove the signs once you have been served with a notice. He removed the signs on Wednesday, the day after the elections. He was voted into office by knowingly putting up illegal signs but I went and voted against him and will do so again next election.

That is some of the reasons I went and voted.

For me its a case of, what r the reasons for not voting? Do really believe u have a choice? This Iraq war would of happened regardless of who is in power. The erosion of our civil liberties and rights would still be happening if another party was in. In short there is no difference that is just part of the illusory trick that called democracy.

Democracy only works if people vote. People can say what they want about government, but say it by voting. If your candidate doesn't win, do what it takes to change it next time. But don't belly-ache about what is going on and not have a part in changing it. That's why I always vote. I want to have my say.

We were lied to by the Administration about Iraq.
We didn't hunt for Osama when we had the chance.
Dick Cheney shot a man while hunting and got away with it.
The Republicans have been pork spending and a lot of the money is being mismanaged and wasted. Billions of dollars.
Dick's staff leaked a CIA agents identity. But He didn't know about it. Right!
The Govt. would not approve stem cell research that is funded by the Govt. When the embryos are thrown away.
All of the mistakes of the War in Iraq.
AND THEN CAME FOLEY THE LITTLE BOY LOVER.
There is too much to list Sorry.

because thousands people died in agony to give you the chance. If you don't bother, the government will justify the ceasation of our democracy by saying - 'we gave you the chance to vote, and no one wanted it any more - so we have chosen for you'. No more democracy. So, unless you trust Tony Blair and his gang to choose for you, then get out there and vote.

I didn't have people I wanted to vote for, but I had people I wanted to vote against.

people died in Africa to get a say and when people get a say, they dont want it. Imagine how fustrating it is when the politicians and people in so-called-power, dont listen to the people and pocket the money in their banks etc and give nothing to the country but think of themselves. Imaagine if you dint have a right to normal everyday things we take for granted? what would life be like? go ask the people who dont get a say in anything and see how they feel. u should appreciate they ask you who u want as ur local MP or prime minister.

It's about Iraq. It's about lies. It's about corruption. It's about change. It's about time. republicans have done nothing to help working class and women in America, nothing. We now have a $9 trillion national debt and the Iraq war will cost tax payers $2 trillion.
We have 2838 dead in Iraq and over 30,000 wounded. These are Americas brave, Americas brightest and Americas best.
