I swear, This country is way too overprotective. If there is one, just one drop of blood in a cartoon then parents could go crazy and demand that the show be banned. This is off topic but, parents don't keep a good eye on their kids. Thats why america is the country with the most crime and violence. Ok, The FCC is bad!!!!! Television just has to be sugar coated, like, not being able to say die in cartoons because the immature kiddies can't handle it.

Parents let the TV babysit their kids too much, they never just sit down and point out what is wrong and why, thats another reason the FCC censors things so f***ing much!!!!! I'm sick of it!!!!!!!!!

I got to participate in an experiment when I was a little kid that was designed to learn how kids respond to violent cartoons. Apparently America is protecting you from kids like me... Then again, although I did run around in circles in the playground screaming "BEEP! BEEP!" and jumping off high objects, I didn't start shooting people after watching Star Wars... Go figure. Maybe it was just the Loony Toons cartoons that were dangerous...

i agree. i just got done asking yahoo answers if anyone missed those old classic cartoons like bugs bunny and popeye and so far, i have received positive answers.

i grew up watching popeye and bugs bunny and etc and i never once went out and hit someone or even thought of it.

parents today treat their kids like a thin piece of glass and go out of their way to be their "friend' rather than their parent.

You are exactly right. The biggest problem in this country today is the lack of good parenting and parents taking responsibility for their children and their actions.
