Here's the question:
How does technological development in the Mesoamerican and Andean
civilizations differ from technological development in the Eastern Hemisphere societies that you have studied thus far? What factors might explain the differences in technological development?
i would really appreciate if someone would help, because my mind is filled with the fact that my moms wallet got stolen today, and i just cant think right now. could somebody at least get me started PLEASE!!!

Technological development in the Mesoamerican and Andean civilizations was based on a sense of practicality while societies in the Eastern Hemisphere were able to advance their technology on the scholarship of others before them.

One glaring feature:
The Andean and Mesoamerican cultures never knew the concept of the wheel.
Where as the eastern Hemisphere societies had developed the wheel. Making them a lot more mobile. Also able to transport larger amounts of supplies trade goods etc. faster for longer distances with less effort increasing trade among the different cultures.
And in times of war being able to move larger armies faster and further.
