Yes, Tom Sawyer is a really good book! It has been many years since I read it but both it & Huckleberry Finn are great books! The titles are The Adventures of Tom Sawyer & The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and that is just what they are the adventures of 2 young boys. Actually when Mark Twain wrote Tom Sawyer he based it on actual events in 3 boy's lives, his own & 2 schoolmates.
I think & hope that you will enjoy it but since I don't know you, I can't say for sure. Just read it and see what you think! Good luck with your homework!!

Tom Sawyer is an American classic written by Mark Twain (real name Samuel Langhorne Clemens). Twain is a marvelous writer and Tom Sawyer is a good book because of it. Tom Sawyer can only be a really stupid book if one has an extremely short attention span and does not have an appreciation for good writing.

i read Tom Sawyer in eighth grade and i loved it...

it seems stupid and hard to read (since the slang is annoying), but it ends up being a really funny, good book with tons of laughs, tragedy, and drama.

overrall i thought it was GREAT!

I liked it.It was somewhat confusing at times but you get used to the way Twain writes. You sometimes have to look close for some of the funny parts....but they are funny. It starts out kinda slow but DON'T stop reading it;it gets really good.

I dunno I keep starting to read it and never get past the 11th chapter. I think it was more meant for younger teenagers...
