No, that's just how it is. Some people have innies, some have outies. I have a friend who is naturally very tiny but she still has an outie.

at birth, when the doctor chops off, well, "removes" the umbelical cord, sometimes the belly button goes inward and sometimes it stays "out"

lmao im 5'2 and small. My bellybutton is an outtie too. No its not abnromal or anything. It just depends how it was tied when you were given birth to. Every person's body grows differently too.

It is genetics or a navel hernia. I had one when i was 5 and need an operation to tuck mine in. My daughter has one too so i think it is in the blood! :)
