Pro
- If you need police help, he might be able to call in a favour and fast-track any police work.
- You are less likely to have problems as who would annoy the wife of a cop?
- Extended surrogate family of all his work buddies and their families. Good network. This could also be a bad thing if you don't get along with any of them.
- You will have a husband who is trained in the disarming and 'containment' of any scum that breaks into your house while you are home (or who attacks you while you are out), therefore making things safer for you.
- He will be required by his work to maintain a level of fitness, so you will have a buff husband. Unless he does undercover work which requires him to let himself go.

Con
- he could get shot and leave you a widow.
- Crims could break into your house and shoot you all while you are asleep
- You won't be able to get away with anything illegal, unless he is corrupt, which I hope he isn't.
- some people may think you get an easy deal being the wife of a cop, but really - don't listen to them.
- He could be harder on you - law wise - because you are his wife and he will make a show of not letting you get away with breaking any laws.
- Depending on his job and who he works for, you might get kidnapped and ransomed cos he pissed off an underworld figurehead.
- Any undercover work where he is associated with drugs, as this may require him to take them himself, which may change his personality.

Wow, there is allot of late night TV watchers! Most policemen are not in a gun battle to save their lives. In fact most police officers go an entire career without pulling their revolver in the line of duty! However, if you want a stereo typical police officer you will get an arrogant and intimidating individual. This you will not see until after the vows have been read. Most cop divorces are due to this character flaw. Unfortunately it is also necessary for employment. Otherwise people would be challenging them all the time. Actually I still do but I have a big problem with arrogant people and enjoy deflating them a bit. Good Luck and a bit of personal advice....don't do it. They make half of what I make and I am a middle class job easy! Plus the character flaw is not easy to deal with for long term.

Each day could be a last or he could be injured in the line of duty. Theres always criminals that might personally hate him. Frustration from a days work.

Pros: he'll keep you safe
looks great in a uniform
used to dealing with people, not the withdrawn type
Get a ticket knocked off for ya hee!hee!

Pros: steady employment, average wage, nice uniform, ability for you to get out of fines.

Cons: shift work, average wage, power issues, danger on job.

I think they both balance each other out. I'd forget the fact that he's a police man, and just get to know him and decide whether or not you're happy to spend the rest of your life with this man.

Cops get all kinds of sex, constantly. When I was a police candidate I got tons of poontang. Women love the authority or something. All I know is they give it up to the uniform ALL THE TIME. Do not think for a moment that he will not have opportunity upon opportunity, daily.

They are all like that. Even the ugly ones.

pros are he's prolly responsible, a man of strength...always able to protect you....an honest man...forethcoming and upright...a model citizen...cops are considered heros these days...cons: well...lets jus say the pot party's out...sort of releasing inhibitions is out...kind of rigid...I'd be a little nervous around a cop...plus he could get killed anytime...just something you have to accept in the beginning...also the fact that he could kill someone else...plus theres that gun...oh well good luck...

There is nothing wrong with that at all.

He can get rid of your traffic violations, and the uniform would be excellent for a strip tease.

Cons... well, there is a lot of gunfire.
