Mariah Carey "All I want for Christmas is you" if you're doing a modern music thang - also get hold of a copy of 'Love actually' DVD super soppy film to watch together over the Christmas season

You have a great idea here - any girl would love a guy to do this, just 'cos of the thought you put into it etc which is way more important than the actual content ... you're a sweetie :) !!!

Just put music that you think she'd like. It doesn't necassarily have to be christmas music.
If you're going for the whole Christmas music thing, then just find Christmas songs from the genre of music she likes. If she likes emo/screamo, you might want to look at the Taste of Christmas CD.

I really hope she's just a friend because composing a CD for a girl is a sure way to enter the friend zone. Good Luck.

Talk to her, find out what she likes and then GO AND BUY A COPY YOU CHEEPSKATE!

I'm not against piracy, but with christmas presents it's the cost that counts not the effort.

If inexpensive effort is your choice, then rage against the machine, black grape, and the fall would be good for me (although I'm not a girl) and if you really want to confuse her try some captain beefheart.

I think that's a really sweet idea I would love it if my fiance did that for me. Talk to her and try and find out what she likes. And I do think it would be sweet to make the songs titles spell out her name or a message or something like it said in a previous answer. If you love her, put love songs on it. Fill it to the brim with cheese she'll love it! xxx

I think that is such a sweet present and I would love for a guy to do that for me. You should just fill it with songs that; have lyrics relevant to the two of you, say what you would love to tell her and were released while you've known each other.

Try to make the first letter of the songs spell her name or say something special.
