home from work? I've only been gone for 8 hours or so. She's too glingey I think. Maybe she doesn't like to be home alone?

l think it might have something to do with your job, for instance, do you do ANYTHING that puts your life in jepardy? You should talk to her about it. It'll make her feel more secure to know you care.

She loves you! I'm always happy to see my husband come home. Aren't you happy to see her? Try going straight over to her when you get home, giving her a big hug and a kiss. Make sure you do the same before you leave for work. Tell her you love her and you miss her while you're gone. Just try it. You might find out that you can get just as much relief as she does.

If this doesn't seem to work, or if she is just clingy, like you say, suggest to her that she go out with friends during the day while you're gone. Maybe she could start taking a class or start a home business. If she's busy during the day, she won't be so focused on missing you. But it just sounds to me like she loves to be with you. Don't resent her for it. Good Luck!

Clearly, she thinks you've been plugging away (at work) for far too long, and while she admires your persistence, your work ethic only makes her feel a kind of emotional soreness. When you finally come bursting through her door, she doesn't have to put up with the unbearable boredom any longer.

edit: ...so am I the only one who got the double entendre, or am I just perverted?

It's probably because she's home all day while you're at work and during the day she's by herself, lonely and when you come home from work she's all happy because finally she has a bestfriend to talk to and hang. Her spirit and energy comes out.

She is just happy to see you, she missed you or when you at home she knows where you are,a bit possessive when she gets bored she will loosen the leash.
