The whole concept of Yahoo Answers is absurd. Other than questions looking for a subjective opinion, why not just google what you're looking for?
Any stupid question should be answered in kind, with a humorous response. My guess is that you are taking Yahoo Answers seriously and that the "jerks" you're referring to are trying to be funny in response to what they see as idiotic or inane questions.
Lighten up, you'll live longer.

Just because they answer different than you would does not make them a jerk, it just means they have a different opinion or belief.

I have a degree in Psychology, so I have some ground to say this: You seem to be projecting your jerkiness onto the fine people who use Yahoo Answers. We'd appreciate it if you would be more considerate to us in the future!
