try to examine why you hate the guy...what is it about him that you dislike so intensely? was it something he did several years ago? has he changed since then to a better person?
i'm confused about your description...your friend and the guy yell and fight with each other at lunch?...that does not make sense so i do not know how to help you there
you may be right that she is in love, but it is entirely possible for her to not be attracted to him and see him more as a brother, a wonderful friend to help her through life, just not as a partner
first try to get to know him better, try to find the good that your friend has found...and if you absolutely cannot (try hard not be stubborn about his poor qualities, try to find the good) talk to her about why you do not think he a good influence and she should hang around with better friends who will help her grow and stay by her side in the tough situations, like you are doing...show her how you have been through things together, your friendship has been proven, but DO NOT bag on him while she is still "crushing" (or trusting, whichever way it is) on him, or you may compromise your friendship...just be very concerned, and try to gently show that concern to her

From the sounds of it, you should just let them work it out on their own and not to interfere with it. If they end up a couple then that is just how it is going to be, and you will need to learn how to support your friend in a relationship. It isn't like you guys will just all of a sudden will stop being friends.

Tell her to give you your time or will give your time to someone else. If she continues the behavior don't sit with her at lunch until she can include you in the conversation or at least stop fighting with him, I would go so far as to get up and leave the table.

First of all that friend is just in a guy-loving stage of life, but it's wrong for her to ignore her. If you said how you felt and she just walked away she just won't take it. Good for you in telling her your point! A true friend cares about your feelings. Hope it helps!
