People seem to strive for beauty, intelligence, fame, and money so I'm asking all of you which one would you rather be. Smart and Beautiful or Famous and Rich. I would also like it a lot if you explained why you chose it.

smart and beautiful- then you can actually have the knowledge so you know HOW to BECOME rich and famous. But, if you're rich and famous- SURE, you can BUY outer beauty, but you can't buy brains. Unless you're a doctor- then you can buy like, dead brains, but if you're just rich and famous, you wouldn't have the brains to be a doctor and buy dead brains.

I would rather be smart. I would hate to be famous. I don't want to be rich, just to have enough to pay my bills and a little extra. I don't have to be beautiful, I am fine as I am.
Famous people don't get to have a lot of privacy. They just annouced that a singer had to get a restraining order on a staulker as he even followed her to her mothers home. Scary. No Famous is out for me.
Rich people get friends that they didn't know they had. Money isn't everything and sometimes, it can overtake people and money doesn't make them happy like they think it will and they are always feeling like they are missing something.
Smart is what I feel like I am. I have common sense. That is a big one. If you don't have common sense, book smarts don't mean much. I have both. I am blessed.
Beauty. People who are beautiful do get treated better. I am glad that the show Ugly Betty is on, as it shows that just because you don't have the best looks, doesn't mean you aren't smart, and you aren't beautiful on the inside,which means so much more. Oprah had a show on today that showed that people can change the world, one at a time. So many people have a lot of the same issues and no one really knows how each other feels.
So many people take each other for granted. They assume things. Just like the popular football player. No one really knew that he grew up fat and lost weight. No one knew his Dad left him at an early age. No one knew that his mother had Ovarian cancer and every night he had to carry her up the stairs to bed. He had to feed her. He also had a job. They expected a lot from him at school but didn't know his personal life. There are a lot of stories like that in this world. I would much rather have a poorer loving family than anything that meant nothing.

I'd rather be both but if I had to choose I guess smart and beautiful I don't know if I could handle be famous and having people in my face all the time

Well usually people who are famous and rich are smart, if not beautiful. And a lot of people who are smart and beautiful become famous and rich...

Smart and beautiful, so I can make people connections and work my way up the social and economic ladders to become rich and famous anyway. Even if you're average looking and have mediocre inteeligence, your personality and determination can make the difference. Hvae you seen famous people without make up? Scarryyyy....

Hrm. Naturally I would go for smart and beautiful, because although being rich and famous will get me places much faster and easier than just being merely smart and beautiful but poor, the idea of satisfaction of achieving a goal with your two bare hands is exhilarating. But then again, being rich and famous wont hurt either. i could give my mom a happier life.
