They will be back.
They are probably taking a short break from the abuse they think we'd be heaping on them ... because that's what they'd be doing to us if they had won. (Can you imagine the gloating they would be heaping if they had managed to hold the House?)
(Which is not to say there haven't been a lot of gloating Dems on here ... but after 12 years, that's to be expected. But overall, the Dems on here have been surprisingly civil, IMO. That's the problem with being a party that bases itself on principles of fairness and tolerance ... we just don't have that vindictive instinct.)
But they will be back (probably by mid- next week) ... saying things like "So libs have been in control for a week ... why no changes??" (Not realizing that the new Congress doesn't get seated for a while ... they're not all that up on procedures.)

The election is over and the other party won so the rhetoric stops from the republicans just like Bush said the election is over so now it is time for them all to work together.

Truly, the liberals and conservatives are BOTH abusive to one another. There are extremists and hateful individuals on both sides. For every "Democrap" there's a "Repukelican." Surely you must have noticed that.

they have learned a good lesson about running the mouth i think. look what calling harry trumans party the cut and run party cost them (the senate)! that one rant cost them controll of the senate now they are going to pay for two years for that one statment

i imagine if you did a real study of abuse, you would find that it the liberals have the republicans beat. besides we are all strategizing how to win the congress back.. too busy...
