Of course, home cooked food is better in a myriad of ways. First of all, the cost. It is much cheaper, by far, to make relatively anything at home. Secondly, the taste - nothing beats anything made at home! Next, the nutrition. When you cook, you control what goes in - the fresh ingredients, fresh meat or fish, as well as sodium and fat levels. Also, the variations are seemingly endless, as long as the cook is willing to try new things, and change things up in the kitchen. Lastly, but certainly not least, is the love which goes into each home cooked meal. It's cooking your kids' or husband's favourite dishes for them. Having them walk into the house and swoon at the smell of a good beef stew or freshly baked buns or cookies. Making the effort to cook well is totally worth it - one doesn't have to be a gourmet chef, by any means, but experience comes from trial and error, and if you are working with good ingredients, the mistakes taste pretty good too!

A good home-cooked meal is by far better than fast food... sad as it sounds , it seems some people don't have the time for cooking anymore because they are always in hurry to go no-where, sooooooo fast food is where they end up eating

Dude, stop saying "homely cooked food." Homely means "unattractive." You mean home-cooked food. Fast food is usually NOT better than home-cooked food because it is often full of fat, sugar, salt, preservatives, and calories, and it offers very little in the way of nutrition. People like fast food because it's full of fat, sugar, and salt (these are all very tasty things, even though they're not good for you), because it's an easy way to get a meal (no cooking, no cleaning), and because of the TV ads that bombard us every single day, convincing us that fast food is GREAT and that we "deserve" to treat ourselves with that fat-laden burger or those chemically altered french fries.

Home cooking with fresh produce is nutritionally preferred. It's important to wash fruits and vegetables well before steaming them. Minimal steaming preserves the integrity of the texture of the product and there's the least amount of nutrtient loss.
Lean meats without sauces and cold water fish are best for your heart.
Fruits are the healthiest dessert.

What they can do ! 60% are bachelor;who will cook for them in the busy life behind earning a Dollar.30% of wages earned are consumed by the weight loss program! But it's a fashion to eat fast food for their constant taste and going to Gym or sports club or being a member of the weight loss program is a prestige.Fast food has consistent taste where in Home made food or gourmet food you can do + or - according to your taste.

I love to cook and better yet, I love to eat!! Depending on how tired I am at the end of the day and how good the restaurant's food is, it can go both ways. Restaurants serve their purpose.

Homemade food, properly prepared, compared to fast food is like comparing gold to bronze. The homemade food would be the gold and the fast food would be the bronze. Go from there.
