Before 9/11 when was the last terrorist attack against the USA. and does any1 know where to find a time line of terrorist attacks against the USA?

The last attack on American soil by a terrorist organization before 9-11 was in Feb. 1993. There was also the Oklahoma City bombing by McVeigh in the late 90s (i forget exactly when).

as far as time line:
80s - Various airline hijackings/bombings by numerous groups.
93 - WTC Bombing
late 90s - OK City bombing
late 90s - US Embassy bombing
2000 - US Cole Attack (maybe late 99, again, don't have exact numbers)
2001 - 9-11
2001 - present - various terrorist attacks throughout Middle East
2003? - Madrid Bombings
2005 - 7-7 London Bombings

I think there might have been more, but I can't remember anything in particular.

Well, depends on how big of attacks you are counting, and who you define as terrorists. I don't know, but I can tell you this:

The World Trade Center garage was bombed on Feb. 26, 1993 by Islamic terrorists, killing six and injuring 1,042 people.

Some time after that was the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995, killing 168. True, the guys who did it were American citizens, but they were still terrorists in my book.

And do you count bombings against US embassies abroad? Lots of attacks there, both big and small, over the years.

9/11 was the first large-scale attack on continental US soil. there were some smaller incidents, such as an attempted assassination of Truman.
