I have 2 kids and never had a problem with ovulating. The past few months I have not noticed any eggwhite fertile mucous during anytime of the months,i have even did internal exams myself, but just the reguklar cloudy thin normal discharge, does this mean im not ovulating? please help!

While cervica mucus is a good indicator, it's not the only way to tell. Your hormones might be changing or fluxuating causing the mucus to be thicker and maybe a little drier than normal. Before you panic, try the over the counter ovulation predictor kits and see what's going on, if you can't get a result from that then contact your doctor just to make sure everything is on the up and up. Try not to stress, that'll only make it worse.

Never heard of it meaning not ovulating. I have that same discharge all the time. Ever since i started my period the first time, around 11. It has been a normal thing, and a slight annoyance when i need a panty liner to contain it. But to my doctors it is nothing bacterial, and through it i have had one child, and i currently have another on the way. I dont think it is anything causing you to keep from ovulating, but get an ovualtion kit if you wish to try that way. Good luck.

Well, are you planning to have more kids? Or is your major birth control by checking the mucus?
It just might be that your body is changing as you age. I wouldn't rely on only the mucus-check as a birthcontrol -- use the calendar, too. (I'm assuming your periods are coming as usual.)
If you have a nagging feeling that something is wrong, you should get it checked out. Something may be out of whack. But, it's good to have a doctor say, "Oh, don't worry about it." Be sure and bring your charts and any other information you might have.
