just because your a certain age/race/height doesnt mean anything. give it a shot, go to a place like Barbizon.
I'm asian as well and dfksdklfj i wish i was your height! im soo jealous. i'd love to become a model [who wouldn't right?] and i'm 5'1 so that'll probably never happen for me. im not too serious in pursuing it but i totally would if i was gorgeous and tall haha. just a dream.
anyway. of course you can try. you might get turned down sometimes, you might get the job sometimes. thats life.
just because your asian doesnt mean a f uck. thats just horrible if someone didnt give you a modeling job because of your race and i'd be so offended [if i havent said so already im asian too]
so yeah. i mean look at tila tequila shes crazy famous for music and modeling and shes asian and thats just one example off the top of my head.

Talk to a real Modeling Agency! Not one of the ones that claim that they will make you a model. Look in the Yellow Pages and find out where some modeling agencies near you are. Go and talk to them. You might have to visit a few to find the answer to your question.

when i talked to somebody about being a model they liked me a lot, but i was 5'8'', and they were like, well you are kind of short for fashion, but they said i could do commercial modeling which is a lot easier to get cast for. you might have a chance at fashion modeling, but the chances are slim

If you are thin. You are a little short to be a model but hey look at kate moss. The asian thing isnt a problem if you are pretty.

Yes!! I think they would gladly accept you! You're tall, and Asian. There need to be more Asians in the fashion industry, along with other races. Go for it! I'm planning on becoming one myself!

to the girl above that said go to barbizon... DONT DO THAT!.
all they do is train you to look like a model. and rip you off for your money to take these head shots.
i know from experience..
you need to call a modeling agency.. and have them contact you.
