i put my sweater in the washer, and then dry it on a clothes line. every time i do this, i end up with little white pieces of dust? anyway i have to use a sticky roller to remove the lint and it never works all the way, and thats not good b/c i have a black sweater.
do you have any tips? thank you

tips:
1. try turning it inside out, then throw it in the washer.
2. try washing it by hand.

first off if the fiber content is 100% cotton your always going to have this problem. As a rule if I have anything black I make sure its a blend and not all cotton because of lint and fading. Second only wash your black articles of clothing seperate especially if you can do a separate load from cotton and blend loads this will prevent lint, And definitely dont put through the dryer with anything else if possible line dry it.

BY itself, either on delicate cycle,or depending on the type of fabric,or trim check inside label for care instructions.,wash by hand in cold water.

Put it inside a pillow case and tie the end up, then wash the whole thing as usual.

use a razor! it gets rid of all those little lint balls and makes it look like new... or wash it by hand in cold water, let it soak in woolite (for dark colors) for an hour or two and rinse... its very gentle and smells good

Wash it by itself and use a dryer not a clothesline ...use the gentlest heat setting so you don't shrink it. but don't use fluff or it will take days to dry ...fluff has NO heat at all.
