i have been having problems with my computer all week long, but here is my question. when i click on a anything that drops down or up, it is just a clear box until i take my pointer across it to look then it looks kind of normal, does anyone know how to fix this or why it is doing it? Please help, this is so annoying.

change ur window theam by right clicking on desktop >>properties and theams tab.
it will solve ur problam.

The only thing I can think of right offhand is that there is a problem with Java on your computer. I am presuming that you are running Windows in some form.
I suggest going to the link listed below, download and install it. There is almost no chance of the download causing harm, and it is worth trying. When going there, I suggest downloading the top-most option.

download adobe flash player, adobe shockwave player, java player. The first 2 get them on google.com free, the other one go to java.com and get it, also free
