The Climax of any story is the highest point of tension/ conflict in the story it is usally near the end, and all the questions and action up to that point have been leading to that explosive moment/decision that will change everything. When you can find that moment next time you are watching The Wiz you will know that it is the Climax.

the climax is when dorothy has the actual encounter with the wiz and is on the verge of wanting to go home, but must decide if she wants to leave or stay with the friends she found on the way.
