I will eat a full meal and like a half an hour later my stomach is growling and I feel hungry again. Its like I never ate in the first place. I have been experiencing it a lot in the past month. We are trying to get pregnant and It is possible that I may be pregnant now but wouldnt it be way too early to have an increased appetite? Anyways, I just dont get it. I am a little over weight and I dont want to eat myself to 300 lbs because I feel like I am starving all the time. Is there any reason for this??? Thank you!!

No one ever died from a hunger pang. Sometimes it is just that you want to reach for something. Know how many calories a day your body needs. So you won't gain or lose past what you want to be. Every women should keep a journal of what you eat.
when you consume the right amount of calories stop eating.
I read a sign at a WW meeting. "Your stomach doesn't have a brain let it use yours." Go to weight Watchers and get on a balanced diet you can stay on the rest of your life.
As you age you want to exercise less and eat more. So you have to conscienciely do the oposite. That is why so many older people gain weight. They also have a sign that says "NO one ever died from a hunger pang." That is normal drink a glass of water. Eat a sno cone that is diet soda and shaved ice.

Try garlic oil pills. Could be worms. Have you been tested for diabetis? Ulcer could cause grinding feeling in stomach which could be mistaken for hunger. Have a doctor run a complete blood chemistry screen on you. If your trying to get pregnant, it would be good anyway to make sure your healthy and everything is okay with your body before you put the extra strain of pregnancy on it. Help to have healthier baby also.

First take a pregnancy test to see if you are pregnant. If you aren't I would consult your doctor.
It could be just stress.
If you are afraid of eating yourself to 300 lbs, when the hunger occurs after the full meal eat fruits and vegetables.

Are you chewing your food or are you wolfing it down? Chew your food slowly. Also, do not drink beveragew with your meal, drink them after. When you drink with your meals, you get the feeling of being full but you really arent, it's the liquid and you become hungry soon after. It is better to get full on the food first and then drink.

You should ask your doctor. Drink more fluids, if you don't drink enough your body sometimes tells your brain that you are hungry.
