Don't need mango's pity. I'm a Republican and proud of it, despite the mistake, I mean the loss on Tuesday. It won't last forever.

I am an older lady and voted the republican ticket for most of my life.....worked hard for George 41....I became a democrat in 03 when I realized that these particular republicans had no compassion for their own people and were wiping out the middle class.....this is the backbone of america....when the middle class is no longer around, the US will be a little tiny blip on the radar screen of history.

Im a Republican, although with regards to the recent "win" as the Democrats call it, I think it will be good for the Republicans, to shake them up a bit...Sometimes a change can be a good thing. I believe in the old-fashioned honest morals and beliefs as the Republicans, although they will continually have to earn my vote.

God Bless

a democrat due to my Christian values as a born again believer. I am prolife. Reps do nothing but talk about it to get votes. Dems policies save the 20% of unborn children who would be aborted for economic reasons like no health care, job, 2-3 minimum wage jobs, poor housing, etc)..that is 880 unborn kids a day and 321,200 lives a year saved by the dems policies while reps rhetoric saves no babies. Also being prolife, I am against killing in unjust wars and the use of depleted uranium, a horrific WMD..we dropped equivalent to 1/4 million Nagasaki bombs in Iraq. It kills (cancer up 1000%, horrifically deforms (the worse deformities I have seen in 56 years of living, (up 1000%, and causes gulf war syndromes with its horrible and multiple symptoms ever place we have used it (4 countries)..killing indiscriminately, civilians of Iraq and 15 neighboring countries, children, women, animals, and future generations for 4 /2 million years. it makes all food and water unsafe to consume till the end of time. It damages human DNA and is spread through our connected water and airways. This is wrong and not living by the golden rule and loving people, even our enemies..kids are kids the world over and moms delivering Frankenstein babies and their families are never the same. This creates hatred.
also I care about the least among us..hungry, homeless, sick, jobless, depressed, poorly educated...our economy takes parents away from the home too long hurting them, their future families and society. I care about the environment and want safe food from organic farmers locally grown not atrocious, disease ridden, environment destroying, smelly, animal torturing factory farms and agribusinesses. I know there is a link between health and the brain and the food we eat and the environment we live in. I believe in competition of a free market system and small businesses over monopolies and when big box stores get perks thast give them a cometitive edge and use child and slave labor and pay 9 cents an hour in Hionduras with 24 hour shifts with vlocked bathrooms abroad and for workers here they pay so little they rape social programs like housing, food, medicaid, wic, etc harming the truly disabled and needy when politicians have to cut the programs because so many are on it due to Walmart's and others not paying good health care or decent wages (Walmart's topped 11 of 12 states studied for the number of people on the social programs..they even go so far as to train their manager to tell people to apply for all the programs)..thus harming those in need.,..truly unable to work like the blind, paralyzed, psychotic, cancer patients, etc

Also I want diversity and freedom in the news media not corporate monopolies. I hate corporate welfare being given to the wealthy, huge tax cuts in times of war and every one blaming the poor guy down the street using programs cause of a variety of reasons and desparation and ignoring the corporations and wealthy and weapons makers making a fortune off this administration. I believe in bankruptcy protection when credit cards cheat people with exorbitant finance charges the bible spoke of debt forgiving every 7 years..

I feel dems care about public education and television. They don't cut vets programs and medical and hospitals. They don't send them in harm's way unless absolutely necessary. I do not approve of breaking all our treaties and violating all 4 rules of war. We are supposed to be models to other counties..how can we not expect them to lie and break treaties when we do it all the time. I do not believe in torturing especially with no rights to habeas corpus or attorneys and we know it doesnt work. I do not believe in spying on America. I believe in caring for others and being kind and the dems are more in line with that. I do not support reps owning 87% of the voting companies and keeping the software secret so they can program it to cheat. Dems are more for protecting democracy. Money is not as big of a deal to me as people, poverty, the golden rule, the world god gave us and our kids and old and I feel dems are more in line with that. There are so many other reasons but I'll stop now. Once I was a rep until I had a heart-wrenching encounter with a newly homeless man sobbing and freezing at age 60. Never again will I vote republican.

Neither, but as a moderate conservative, I identify more with the Republican party, for all their flaws.

Democrat. I believe in freedom and using our tax dollars to help the regular foot soldiers; not the oil companies. I believe the inviorment is important. I believe the American people are important. I believe that all human beings deserve respect.
