You have to be 18 and attend the movie with them....at least that is the way it was last time I took someone underage.

Make sure every each of you must passed the birthday.
No refund of ticket if you're caught underaged.

If the usher been overlooked, the ministry (MDA) compound charges towards you is $20.000/=
The theatre is under suspended for the reskless of the staff.

Plse take note: Note even a parent can bring you in.
Our government is taking care of the WELL-BEING if parent can't do so.

Thats why 2 entrance are checking on the I D.
First........before buying the ticket by the ticketing office
Second...the usher

So ...dont take the risk.
I hope this reference will help you and others

Times may have changed but one time I bought tickets for 2 underage kids to see Event Horizon. I was 19 at the time and wasn't asked for ID and the kids were not carded either and neither of them had ID anyway. The 17yr old could get in with no problem and does not need a parent/guardian but needs to get some form of ID for other things in life. The 16yr old will not have any problem getting in and even if they are carded, you would be considered the guardian.

i actually worked at a movie theater when i was in high school, the age you have to be to go see an R movie is 17, and i believe we did sell tickets to people that were younger then 17 as long as they had someone that was 17 with them. either that or they had to have a parent or guardian with them. sorry it's been a few years, hope i've been helpful.

no, u cant buy tickets for them. i'm 15, and i went with some 18 year old friends to go see the movie inglorious basterds. my friend tried to buy me a ticket, and the guy turned her down. you have 2 options either have ur younger friends buy a ticket for another movie, then sneak into the r-rated movie or tell ur friends to dress up to look older, and hope that the movie guy doesn't notice their youth. i'm 15, but i guess i acted old enough. just b mature about it, and you should b fine. otherwise, i guess u'll just have to rent it wen it comes out on DVD.

Well, unless you are the legal guardian (which I doubt), you won't be able to. But I am sure they'll be able to get tickets anyway.

Yes, you are old enough to get them in. Your 17 year old friend could too if he had his I. D.

You can buy tics, but your frens could be checked at the entrance & refused entry by the usher.

Why risk?

I guess it depends on the theater. You might have to be the guardian.
