If the last word in a sentence is italicized, will the punctuation be, also?

Yes it will! I can prove it too! Get on your Microsoft Word and type any sentence, italicizing the last word! It looks kind of cool!

It depends on if the punctuation mark is part of the word being italicized. If its a title without punctuation at the end like The New York Times, but it was at the end of a sentence so punctuation is necessary, then it would not be italicized. If it were a title like Noises Off! the punctuation would be italicized. If its a whole sentence, then the punctuation would be italicized, but if its a part of a sentence, it would not.

I hope you know, I have no idea what I'm talking about. Hope I sound convincing.

It depends on why you're italicizing. But I would say that if the punctuation is part of the italicized phrase, then it should be italicized also, but if not then no. If (for example) you were using a book title in a sentence and italicized the book title, then a period that came after it should not be italicized. But if you were discussing a play like "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?", where the punctuation is part of the title, then the punctuation is italicized.

I think not. if the last word in the sentence is italicized, and the first word in the next sentence is also italicized, then the punctuation also would be italicized.

I've never heard of Italicized punctuation. Are you asking about the font? If the answer is yes, then yes, the punctuation will also be slanted unless you change the font before you type the punctuation.
