what is the best exercise for ear training to identify a note by hearing ?

good question, ive never really tried to do it before, but it seems quite difficult, good luck with it =)

my piano teacher and I sit down at a piano and he hits C and then a note and I have to guess the interval or the note... it seems to work weel.
