There are 435 Representatives, plus a non-voting delegate from each of 4 U.S. territories (District of Columbia,American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Guam). A 5th delegate, officially called a Resident Commissioner, is elected from Puerto Rico for a 4 year term, rather than the 2-year term of all the others.
