Who would get involved in their politics? Too complicated and boring! I guess they have to stick their noses in our business to see how it's done.

the reason we feel that it is necessary is that the public of the United States are responsible for electing the government that is in place.
As well as this the government that the U.S. has in place is not only affecting it's own people but it is affecting the rest of the world, and in a negative fashion.
The reason we Canadians feel it necessary to tell you about this (and some of us are rude, I apologize) is because it is Canada's job to look out for the peace of the world....it's just what we do naturally.
Now, if our government were ruining the planet and killing your soldiers through ignorant friendly fire, from badly trained marines. Now then you would actually have something to complain about wouldn't you.
As part of the voting class we would appreciate it if the entire nation would agree on the non-megalomaniacal presidential candidate.

I think there are a number of Canadians not happy that their government has committed troops and $ to NATO forces in Afganistan since the U.S. gave control there to NATO.

OTTAWA -- Canada's defence minister says it's costing taxpayers $189 million to send reinforcements, including Leopard tanks, to Afghanistan to support Canadian troops.

KABUL, Afghanistan - NATO took over eastern Afghanistan from U.S.-led forces Thursday, assuming control of 13,000 American troops and command of the entire country.

The commander of the NATO-led force, British Lt. Gen. David Richards, called the move “historic” in a ceremony attended by Afghan President Hamid Karzai and U.S. Lt. Gen. Karl Eikenberry, the top U.S. military commander in Afghanistan.

The U.S., with 13,250 troops, will remain the biggest contributor of troops to the 33,000-strong force.

they aren't doing anything more than stating the truth. Our president is a stupid warmonger, and the government is totally crappy. only thing they ever do is for special interests and big business. they never ever do anything that I can think of that benifits the people. This is because special interest and big business has long since bought and paid for the senate, house and judges. What's to hate about our government?

What makes you to think that you are above board? You have all the evils of a non-democratic system in the name of democracy. Your President was fooling the entire nations and you were believing him religiously as if what he was speaking is truth nothing but truth. At last saner sense prevail in the Midterm.

How do you know that it is Canadians doing it? A lot of Americans do not approve of our current President, either.
