No, I believe that most people realize a class system is necessary for our nation to survive.

no because the military commisions act states that anyone declared an enemy of state can be arrested without trial and tortured. if you claim you want to take down the government or replace the government they can legally arrest you.
and you don't have the right to a phone call, or anything for that matter.
and people might say " Wow!" the media would have a field day, but how could they if they never found out. people go missing every day.
also no becasue the majority of people are so un-educated they don't understand what communionism is.
plus with the patriot act they can find out pretty easily if you are.

Do you mean to say that Comrade Karl, and Comrade Dick,or Comrade George, Not even Comrade Santorum haven't do so already? Well then we're okay America will only be and could only be destroyed from within and if we have survived six years of the pure evil unleashed that we have than we can keep ourselves free from communism.

I think it would be a VERY difficult sale to most American citizens today... we have a standard of living that isn't conducive to revolution (at the moment)... we've watched the fall of the Soviet Union (not an actual communitst government).

Also... we don't have a peasant class to stir up... HECK, we're losing our "workers" for that matter !!

I DO think we could be lulled into further socialist behaviors...

NO, people today are more materialistic than ever. Communism is about equality without ownership. People today would never go for that. Today it's all about equity in your home, how many new cars and how many Ipods you own.

Maybe Socialism, as in a national health care program and other government social programs, that I could see.

Communism has had its time in history. Even China has realized that capitalism is the way to go. Russia may revert to a dictatorship again but true communism will never be strong again. Do not confuse dictatorships with communism.

We obviously are, very slowly, by the leftist agenda of liberals in this country.
It's irrelevant whether or not the term "communist" is applied to them.
The ideology is the same, and it's working.
God help us all in 20 years.
