no thats not right there were a bunch of girls shooting t shirts from cannons in a nascar race and homer drew a target with ketchup on his belly and then when all the girls shot the shirts at him he saw some money on the ground and while he picks it up maude comes by with some food and gets knocked off the bleachers by the force of all the t shirts

The Flander and the simpsons were at a Nascar racing event. Some girls starting shooting t-shirts out of a cannon.They were going to give one to homer but he bent down because he found a quarter (or something). Maude was behind Homer and the very top of the seats , so then the t-shirt hit her and she fell off the seats and in the parking lot.

there was an episode where homer and his family was at a some sports game as well as ned and his family. they were sitting at the very top on the bleachers. homer was sitting like 3 seats from the top and yelled to some guy who threw some big hard ball in a cannon and homer was making fun. he said something like come show me what you got. as the guy released the ball pointing homer, homer reached down and picked up some food in the ground and the ball missed homer and hit ned's wife and she fell of the bleachers.
hope it make sense.... some one might say it in more common sense then me..hehe

I think she was killed in a freak accident at a car race. Ned went to get some food (popcorn IIRC) and Maude was hit by flying debris from a race car crash.
