Well, um, this ( http://www.alienware.com/product_detail_Pages/area-51_alx/area-51_overview.aspx?SysCode=PC-AREA51-ALX-R5&SubCode=SKU-DEFAULT ) is probably the best computer for it, but it'll run just fine on computers as low as a 1.5gHz with 500MB RAM if it's got an adequate (128MB?) graphics card.

There really isn't a 'best computer', but you'll want something that meets the recommended requirements for the game. Personally, I have an Intel 2.8Ghz CPU, 512MB RAM, and a Geforce 6800GT video card and it runs smooth on the highest settings.

uhm..my comp was bought about 3 years ago. had some upgrades and it runs smoothly in the highest settings.
basics are:
raedon 9800 pro--->from raedon 9200 $250 when i bought it 2 yrs back
1gb RAM---> from 256, bought 2 512RAM @ 79 each in expo
2.66 ghz---> original
