What kind of people are white trash, where do they originate,and also the yuppies who/where they come from?

Yuppies- upper/middle class well dressed people ages 20-35. Often can be classified as "preppy" or for guys a "prettyboy." Often times yuppies are ignorant about the hradships of others in lower class and can be snobby towards them. They are well educated too.

White trash- low class white people. I think of trailer park people. I also think of the show cops and the people (who aren't black I guess) that are on that show. They often do not all of they're teeth due to no health plans and dental pans. They often have too many kids when they are too young too. They don't have a solid foundation of education at all. They usually can't speak well because of lack of education

White trash come from everywhere, and they can be rich or poor, live in a trailer, a condo, or a mansion. It's more of how they behave. It's a complete and utter lack of class and/or manners. I'm 1/4 white trash on my dad's side. lol j/k It originated from before the Civil War. It was a term coined by Southerners to describe those w/ "new money", or white people who were uncivilized.

The yuppies (young urban professionals) came after the preppies (prep school graduates). We started hearing about yuppies in the late 80's. They also come from everywhere, but people usually think of places like CT, or Westchester County, NY.

White trash are people that don't take care of their children. Spend their limited funds on alcohol and drugs, rarely invest in making their dwellings more habitable. Deny education past basic math and reading. Blame others for their problems.

They typically originate from poor regions, and they are typically raised in racist families.

The word yuppie typically refers to a person at the age of 22 that has just graduated from a prominent college and has landed a high paying job that has vast upward mobility potential. They typically come from well educated and affluent families.

Yuppies is an abreviated form of Young Urban Professionals, a social demographic/economic subgroup coined this way by marketers who wanted to target that group. It includes young, high-education people, mostly single. There is another interesting group that are called the DINKs - Double Income, No Kids...

OKay white trash.... like ppl you see on "Jerry Springer" (just watch that show if you wanna see examples) They come out tha Trailer parks mostly. They can also be found in MASS quanities in small town thru out the US.. (Example: Groesbeck Texas!! There are a TON of them there!!) Yuppies... like Citified ppl..... like the B**** You see driving the lexus dressed all nice talking on her phone while at the same time cutting you off and even tho it was HER fault she flips you the bird as she speeds away.......

Un-fortunately, some feel the rights to downgrade the poor white people. Many of the poor live in trailer courts. I have heard others call them white trash. One white downgrading another group of whites. Like if there are lots of crime commited in some families, other whites refer to them as white trash. One white family against another white family , will refer to each other as white trash. Different color of skin, will call whites, white trash. This term white trash is not nice and sometimes the whites being called this, do not deserve to be called white trash.

I'm guessing trailor parks, people who are on unemployment, party all the time, leave the beer cans and junk cars in the front yard. And all girls over that age of 13 are either pregnant or sluts.
