I'm just a little confused. I feel like I'm not perfect, and there are many other people at my school who arn't, but there are those certain, sporty, girly, people who look perfect.
Like, your belly is bulky and your thighs are huge, or other parts.

You feel like working out and dieting is pointless... because it will never work. How can people who have lost weight excersising, dieting and being happy loose so much weight? Magic?
It's hard to explain, but it seems some people are just better looking than you.

I am NOT looking for someone to say 'you are perfect just the way you are', or, 'everyone feels this way at your age'. I just want to see if there are actually other people who do.

I think everyone has a certain amount of fickleness in them, it's enevitable. Like, in hundreds of romance movies, isn't 'love at first sight' just a fickle statment? Would they love each other if they weren't movie-beauties?

I don't think it's wrong to admit that everyone looks for someone with wonderful qualities, and that one of them has to do with apperances. You can't leave everything to looks, but I mean, life isn't a Christmas Special on the Family Channel.

I don't think everyone read my first post through. I AM happy with who I am, who I hang out with, and what I look like. I wanted to hear people's stories... not theories.

Everyone has insecurities but don't you think you are placing too much emphasis on how you look? Nobody is perfect and even if they were their external looks would fade and if you achieve your goal of being satisfied with your appearance you will have trouble later on in life because you will not stay young forever. Work on your inner beauty it can last you a lifetime and then some.

working out isn't pointless...it does work. It's not magic. Yes, there are genetic factors involved, but anyone...well, mostly anyone, can work through it. But the problem isn't being skinny or being able to working out. It is about being happy with who you are and being yourself...or just realizing that you can become what you want to be and truly...TRULY, believing that you can make it a reality. ya, sounds cheezy, but it's the truth...just alittle over played.

I think everyone feels that way, no matter how old they are, a lot of people just pretend that they don't.
