Nancy and the Democratic majority in Congress will kick his lame butt

They are both powerful Bush is President and Peliso is the speaker of the house the most powerful person in the congress and I really hope they can work together. I think the person who said that congress could not stop president Bush if he veto's a bill is wrong there are some Republicans who would vote with the Democrats and they only have to have a certain percentage of votes to stop his veto but this is not something that would normally be done unless it was a very important bill,

Don't forget the dummycrats do not have enough people in office to override a veto. Bush holds the trump card so she has to go with the flow. The senate and house needs to work without the partisan politics to get anything done as neither party can ram things down the others throat. Bush is still the top banana.

do you need to ask this question? the repug have suffered their worse defeat in a very long time because of that moron and if they could, they would have kicked him out of the white house today.

pelosi, on the other hand is now basking in the limelight of the democratic victory. if she keep performing the same way she had over the years ........... she's presidential material, maybe not 2008 but definitely 2012

Well Bush has Rove, O'Reilly and Limbaugh on his side so I am going to say Bush. Plus he has the power to veto and although the dems made up a lot of ground, I don't think they would have enough votes to override vetoes.

when all the strings are cut from a puppet, the puppet ceases to be a puppet, instead the puppet only becomes a heap of fire wood......let the BonFire begin! Nancy Pelosi could kick bush's cheerleader *SS in any 'arena', not just a political one!

How are you going to decide if you take away his veto power ?? Not a fair question at all. He's still President, with all Presidential powers.

Well I hate to say it, but Bush still has the power. But at least Bush no longer has unbridled power as he used to have.

They're about equal. Pelosi has some standing, but she's way far left of the Democratic Freshman that will take office. They campaigned on a far more conservative platform.

Bush still has veto power, but, he lacks what Pelosi has,
credibility.
