If you generally like guys, you're not gay. You might be bisexual, depending on what qualities makes this person physically attractive to you. You didn't say what kind of transgender, so it's hard to tell - does the person identify as male or female? Do they present full-time as the gender they identify as, or just part time? Is it their masculine qualities that draws you or their feminine qualities (or is it a mix of both)? And maybe just as important - did you know the person as a boy or as a girl when you fell in love?

that question is asked to me all of the time on another site
the best answer is
be what ever you want to be
if you love some one for who they are not what they are
it should never matter what they are
i love this saying as it shows a real answer to a lot of questions
"love has no bounderies age race gender or disability"
in other words the person you love
could be in an actident and lose a leg
or the movement of they limbs
if you love them you will stand by them
and contine to love them even in there hard time
now put that into you life with you partner
your partner is changeing their life to a better them selves
if you love them you will continue loving them no matter what
you do not need a label to love some one
just love them for who they are

I'm trans myself and from what I've seen for some relationships there really aren't words for them yet. Oh, and you never specified which group of transgender. We come in a variety of flavors...

Doesn't make you gay, makes you open minded, and special for accepting the feminine side of your guy. But he is still a guy, unless he is on track for getting srs.
