We have 3 acres and tons of hardwood. The leaves look like a blanket on our property. I don't get in a hurry to rid them of their resting place. Why should I? They are beautiful. Yes my neighbors would prefer that I clear them, but I love seeing them on the trees and then in the yard. Before winter is gone we will pitch in as a family and gather them in to several piles, get a burn permit and have a few fun bonfires where we will roast marshmallows on a clear cool evening. But if I had to pay for someone to rake my yard,,,even with all my leaves I would pay no more than $50. There are college kids, strong youngins who would be happy to have the money to rake them. :)

That totally depends on your locale and how large your yard is. I live in Indiana and I pay a 13 year old 20.00 to rake and bag my yard. I have three small trees.

As many tree,s as I have I would be glad to pay 200.00$ but I do not think anyone would do it for that .took me and my wife all day the last time. and we used rake,s some but done a lot with a blower and mulched some with a riding mower.

We only have one big tree, and have been raking every other day for a month...When does it ever stop?
I would pay plenty, but on the other hand, my husband won't, so we both rake on...

It is easier to go over the lawn with a lawn mower that bags grass clippings as you go. Much easier than raking. Less time and effort. You could do that yourself rather than pay someone to do it for you. Just a suggestion... : )

i do no longer ought to rake them yet i like my backyard to seem superb so my husband and me the two rake them. i like the autumn and all the gorgeous leaves yet each and every so often raking them is a discomfort, quite whilst all of them fall off from a pals tree and blow into my backyard.

Depends on how many leaves you have and how much you value someone else doing the work.I have several trees in my backyard and I mow them into mulch of course if you have alot of leaves this wont work

My neighbors hire Mexicans. They get on average $10.00 an hour. Ignore the stereotypes, they work their butts off and will do a good job.
