Oh, me too. I was a walking zombie. I slept about 12 hours a night and later in the day, I would fall asleep sitting up. Crazy tired! I started doing some light excercises and stretches. This helped get some energy back. Also, staying hydrated and eating good carbs (cereal bars, granola bars) helps. Good luck!

I know this would seem counterproductive, but try and get at least some light exercise in. I feel more energetic after exercising(also helps with aches). I also have a bedtime now and a scheduled nap in the afternoon when my older child sleeps. Try your best to eat right, as junk food provides quick calorie bursts, but will leave you feeling sluggish very soon.

I was the same way. Try not to eat so many carbohydrates and fried food. Get calories from healthier foods. Otherwise, just take it easy. Your growing a baby! Relax and listen to your body. Walking is good for you and the baby though.

REST REST REST. If you are working, maybe you could even catnap in your car at lunch. Also, I survived the first trimester on protein shakes. You can buy the protein powder, and mix it with a bit of milk and even a banana or vanilla if you want. Just eat well, even if it is a cold bowl of cereal. Drink water and rest. It will pass.

Believe it or not, I was told to go for long walks. I walked for like an hour a day. I did feel less tired during the day, but by bedtime I was wiped out.

When I was pregnant. I was tired allot! It's because your body is working overtime to make a baby. Some people said it wasn't normal. But my doctor told me that it was totally normal. It sucks especailly if you have a job or other kids. But I don't think there is anything you can do about it.
