I want to send a message to a friend but i don't want to create a profile. can i just sign up and be registered, thanks

you dont have to create a profile, but that is how others that have similiar intrests are able to find you. The facts you put in your profile are used to connect you to others of like interest, if you dont want that then leave it blank, kinda defeats the purpose of myspace though.

When you sign up for an account on MySpace, you automatically have a profile, but there's nothing in it unless you want to put something in it. You can still do everything else on myspace (messaging, comments, etc.) even if you don't edit your profile and put info in there.

I would sign up and then if you don't want to use it for anything else but to message your friend you don't have to. Coming from someone that does have a MS acct I can tell you that it can be a useful tool to find old friends and what not. I have 179 people on my friends list and out of that number I know 160 in real life. 130 of them are poeple that i lost touch with eons ago.
