2(x-3) -3 (x+5) =3 (x-2) -7
gives
2x-6-3x-15=3x-6-7
gives
-x-21=3x-13
gives
-21=4x-13
gives
-8=4x
gives
-2=x

First, distribute: so
2x -6 -3x-15 = 3x-6-7 then
-1x-21=3x-13 simplify
+21 +21 add 21 to both sides
-1x=3x+8
-3x -3x minus 3x from both
-4x = 8
divide by neg 4 on both x= -2
good luck!

2(x-3)-3(x+5) = 3(x-2)-7
2x-6-3x+15 = 3x-6-7
-x+9= 3x-13
9 = 4x-13
22 = 4x
5 1/2 = x

use the distributive property
2 times x = 2x and 2 times 3=6
-3 trimes x =-3x and -3 times 5=2
3 times x= 3x and 3 times 2 = 6
Which ends up looking like this:
(2x-6)-3(-3x+2)=(3x-6)-7
Now you combine like terms on 1 side of the equation:
2x+-3x=1x
-6-3+2=11
that should now look like:
1x+11=(3x-6)-7
Now combine like terms on the other side:
6 times -7=-42
Now you are ready to solve:
1x+11=3x-42
-3x -3x
----------------
-2x+11=-42
-11 -11
----------------
-2x=-53
-53 divided by -2 = 26.5
x=26.5
Hope i helped!
Good luck in school! : )

(2x-6) - (3x + 15) = (3x - 6) - 7
(-1x - 21) = (3x - 6) - 7
7 = 4x + 15
-8 = 4x
-2=x
